Berrien County Health Department offering free vision, hearing screenings for children

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Michigan State Law requires all children to have hearing and vision screenings before entering Kindergarten.

A program, offered through the Berrien County Department of Health, provides free vision and hearing screenings for school-aged and pre-school children throughout the county.

Health officials say undiagnosed children with vision or hearing related disorders could be impacted in their studies.

Appointments are not required for the walk-in clinic located at 2149 Napier Avenue in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
