BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – ABC57 got a chance to interview a local health expert in Berrien County who spoke about the risks surrounding nursing home residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Christine Vanlandingham serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Berrien County Area Agency on Ageing, which provides resources and helpful programs for seniors with disabilities.
During the interview, Vanlandingham also discussed the irregularities in the number of coronavirus cases being reported by nursing homes and how this affects our local and national legislatures’ response to the pandemic.
