Better Business Bureau a target of a scam

FORT WAYNE, Ind -- The Better Business Bureau is known for helping consumers find trusted companies to work with, but tonight the agency has become the target of a major scam.

The office in Fort Wayne was slammed with phone calls from concerned citizens and business owners this week after they receive a strange email. The letter says the Bureau received a complaint about the business. That email then encourages them to use an online complaint system to respond. But there is concern that a link in the email could be a virus.

The scam has actually hit them on the national level. The BBB says if you get one of the emails, delete it immediately and run an anti-virus software just to be safe.
