Biffle sentenced for double murder
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A man convicted of killing two men, then shooting at police in August 2012 has been sentenced to 160 years in prison. Brandon Biffle was sentenced Friday.
Biffle shot Johnnie Avance in the head while he was sleeping on his couch in his Olive Street home. Biffle then went outside and shot passerby Don Paris,
When police arrived, Biffle began shooting at them and he was injured.
Biffle was convicted at a bench trial in March.
His sentence is as follows:
