Big snow Friday. Heavy, wet snow will pile up through most the day. Final totals up to a foot for South Bend and Elkhart and more than a foot across Southwest Michigan. There will be a sharp cutoff near Plymouth, falling from the six to eight inch range to less than three inches. There’s a short break from the snow late Friday night, before more (light) snow in the forecast this weekend.
Tonight: Heavy snow begins after midnight, low of 18.
Friday: Heavy snow, high 30.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, snow showers, high of 26.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, snow showers, high of 24.
