PLYMOUTH, Ind. — The 4th annual Bikes for Kids giveaway takes place this weekend at Plymouth High School.
This year, students were selected by schools based on need, with kids participating from Plymouth, Culver, Argos, Oregon Davis, Union North, Walkerton and Triton schools.
The organization plans to feed 1,000 participants and give away more than 500 bikes to kids, all while the Easter Bunny visits and takes pictures with them.
Bikes for Kids is based in Plymouth, and it’s always looking for volunteers to help with operations.
The organization is looking for corporate partners to help fund new bicycles for kids for future giveaways.
If you’re interested in volunteering to repair bikes throughout the year or transporting bikes to and from giveaway locations, you can reach out to Bikes for Kids on its website.
