Bird stays on as president of ops with the Pacers

INDIANAPOLIS -- Larry Bird will stay on for at least another season with the Indiana Pacers.
The team's president of basketball operations gave that impression during a news conference.
And even though the organization went through some tough times, they are now on the upswing.
Bird was recently named the NBA's Executive of the Year, becoming the only person to be named MVP Coach of the year and Executive of the Year.
