The cold air plunges into Michiana today, dropping our temperatures into the low 20s by late afternoon. A quick little burst of snow is possible late this morning but lake effect snow develops this evening. Little accumulation is expected as most will see less than an inch. Flurries come to an end Friday morning but the cold remains. We’ll have little bump up in temperatures Saturday as a system moves in bringing widespread snow. Plan on needing to use your shovel before the end of the weekend.
Today: Mostly cloudy with lake effect snow developing, temperatures fall from 32.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, lake effect snow, low of 8.
Friday: Partly cloudy, chance of snow early, high of 18.
Saturday: Snow by the afternoon, highs near 30.
