Blast from the past: Studebakers roll into downtown South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A blast from the past rolled into downtown South Bend on Thursday.

Hundreds of Studebakers cruised through the city's streets.

It's all part of the 48th Annual International Studebaker Meet.

There have been events going on all week at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds.

Mayor Buttigieg even renamed Main Street.

Car enthusiasts said the cruise-in was a chance to share memories and have some fun.

Besides the cars, the Studebaker Band is also set to perform at the College Football Hall of Fame.
