SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Ultimate Pillow Fight family-friendly event is coming to South Bend where competitors will battle in a boxing ring blindfolded with a pillow as their only weapon.
The idea that became an internet sensation is now being hosted in cities across the country to provide entertainment to participants and attending audience members.
"My son, he's a professional fighter, lives in Tennessee. Him and a couple of his friends were just clowning around, had nothing to do, and they decided to do this blind pillow fighting thing. And next thing you know, he decided to make a video of it, and ended, and everything else, and posted it, and got a lot of views. "So, we turned around and decided to make a big event out of it,” said Edward Mitchell.
This event will take place April 9 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Goodson Event Center in South Bend.
