Detecting deadly pancreatic cancer earlier could save millions of lives. Researchers are in the early phases of new tests that might be able to do just that using a simple blood test.
Right now there aren't any early warning symptoms or tests to screen the cancer early enough for treatment to work.
A new blood test could detect different sets of proteins only produced by cancer cells.
The new technique appears promising, detecting pancreatic cancer in four out of five patients.
