Blue Bell Creameries recalls all products

Blue Bell Creameries is recalling all products for Listeria fears.

It includes ice cream, sherbet and other frozen snacks.

Officials say they could be contaminated with the bacteria.

A company statement said it decided on a full voluntary recall after it found Listeria in chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream on two different occasions in March.

Five people in Kansas and three in Texas tested positive for the bacteria after eating Blue Bell products.

"We are heartbroken over this situation and apologize to all of our loyal Blue Bell fans and customers," said CEO and President Paul Kruse. "Our entire history has been dedicated to making the very best and highest quality ice cream we possibly could. And we're committed to fixing the problem."

Kruse went on to say "we're going to get it right."

If you have purchase any Blue Bell products, you can return them for a full refund.
