BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, officials found the body of 17-year-old Rahem Mason on Thursday around 12:41 p.m. in Union Pier in Berrien County.
A Berrien County medical examiner will inspect the body. There is no indication of foul play.
More information will soon be released.
Mason went missing on July 6 around 7:07 p.m. while swimming in Lake Michigan at Washington Park.
Witnesses said that they never saw him return after submerging underwater.
Mason was with a church group from South Bend.
