After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
LA PORTE, Ind. – The Porter County Bomb Squad was called to a home on the 700 Block of F Street Wednesday night. That is across the street from La Porte High School.
Police still remain on scene and crime tape surrounds the home.
La Porte City Police are handling the situation.
The call came in at 6 p.m. central time.
There are two schools near the scene - La Porte High School and Handley Elementary School. The situation is not affecting schools, classes began as scheduled.
