Students were evacuated from Concord High School in Elkhart because of a bomb scare Tuesday afternoon.
The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department was notified of the bomb threat at 1:40 Tuesday.
Concord Community Schools then put its disaster plan into action. All students and staff were evacuated from the building and taken to the football field.
A bomb sniffing K-9 then searched the school three times but no threat was located.
Students were then transported from the football field to the middle school and then were released for the day.
