Boy Scouts considering lifting ban on gay members

The Boy Scouts of America is considering lifting its ban on openly gay members.
The new proposal would allow openly gay boys and young men to participate.
Gay scout leaders would still not be allowed.
The proposal will be voted on next month. If approved, it will take effect starting in January.
