ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- IGT is donating over $15,000 worth of technology to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Elkhart County’s Middlebury location.
This donation is a part of IGT’s After School Advantage Program.
Officials say this location helps serve over 1,500 kids during the school year and summer.
"We've invested over 15 thousand dollars in equipment to support the kids. They include a 3-D printer, several chromebooks, apple devices, robotics, charging carts and all sorts of things to help support their education,” said Melissa Pursley, Indiana’s Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of IGT.
This new equipment will help kids to further thrive in stem programs involving science, technology, engineering and math.
