ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County reopened Monday with a new Summer Program after being closed for almost four months. The program will provide kids with a safe, educational, and fun place to go as their families go back to work.
Activities for the kids will include visual and performing arts, education games and literacy, yoga and wellness, and outdoor sports featuring a new bicycle education program.
A healthy lunch and snacks will be served every day.
Daily temperature checks of everyone will be taken as well as mandatory masks while inside and a rigorous hand-washing schedule.
Additionally there will be smaller group sizes with two staff members for each group of nine kids.
High-touch areas will be disinfected regularly and only staff and kids will be allowed inside to prevent the spread of germs.
