ELKHART COUNTY,Ind.-- Braving Connection is thrilled to announce its upcoming event, "Generational Generosity," to be held on Friday, August 9th, at 7:30 p.m. at The Lenox in downtown Elkhart.

Braving Connections is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering human connectedness.

In partnership with Hubbard Hill and the Early Learning Center, this special evening will celebrate the power of community and the profound impact of connection across generations.

Attendees will hear inspiring essays from our scholarship recipients, who will share how community and connection have played pivotal roles in their academic and personal success. 

A lineup of distinguished Elkhart community members will discuss the theme of generosity. Speakers include:

- Kristin Baker
- Jenny Welch
- Mike Schafer

“We believe in the power of stories to connect us and to foster empathy and understanding within our community,” said Cherish Patterson, “Generational Generosity is an opportunity for us to come together, celebrate our shared humanity, and learn from one another.”
