MARION, Ind. - It's been a dream season for the Bremen Lions, showing their strength through a tough NIC South schedule then rolling through the 2A postseason.
However, that run came to an end against Eastbrook in Semi-State. The Lions led late and seemed to have earned a trip to state with the Panthers missed a field goal, but a penalty allowed for another attempt. That field goal went through the uprights for a final-second Bremen loss, 34-33.
