Bridgman police vehicle damaged after slide off on I-94

BRIDGMAN, Mich. - A Bridgman Police Department vehicle was damaged Monday evening after a driver lost control and crashed into it on the side of I-94, according to Bridgman police.

The police officer involved had been helping a couple that slid off the road when the other vehicle, that was reportedly driving too fast for the road conditions, slid off as well.

No serious injuries were reported.

Drivers are reminded to slow down and give emergency vehicles and first responders plenty of room when they’re on the side of the road.
