SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Though football season has come to an end, Notre Dame Stadium was full once again on Tuesday.
The annual NHL Winter Classic pitted the Chicago Blackhawks against the Boston Bruins in front of a sellout crowd of 76,126 at the historic venue on New Year's Day.
The Bruins came away with a 4-2 victory, but everyone involved said the experience at Notre Dame Stadium lived up to the hype.
See reaction from players, fans and NHL commissioner Gary Bettman in the video above!
Below, hear from players on the Saint Joe High School hockey team, which took part in the pregame festivities by unfurling the flag during the national anthem!
