Buchanan attorney pleads guilty to criminal sexual misconduct

BUCHANAN, Mich. - The Berrien County Prosecutor's Office confirmed Buchanan attorney Lanny Fisher pleaded guilty to three counts of criminal sexual misconduct in the fourth degree.

This includes a two-year felony offense and two counts of engaging the services of a prostitute, a 93-day misdemeanor.

Fisher's sentencing is set for July 3, 2024, in the St. Joseph Courthouse.

Fisher was originally arrested in April 2023 on 14 counts of criminal sexual misconduct, including two counts of sexual conduct against victims between the ages of 13 and 15.

Investigators say some of the victims were clients of Fisher or had family members who were.
