BUCHANAN, Mich. -- Buchanan is holding its 14th annual Chili-Walk Cook-Off on Thursday, April 7.
The event returns after last year’s cancellation due to COVID-19.
Local businesses gather to compete for the public to see who serves the best chili in Buchanan. Visitors sample all the varieties and can cast a vote for their favorite and best-named, respectively.
Admission is $2.00 per participant.
A portion of funds raised through participation goes to a local non-profit. This year’s selection is the Buchanan Garden Club.
The competition is held at the Lehman’s Farmhouse from 5 to 7 p.m., concluding with an award ceremony where winners will be announced.
More information about this event can be found on the Buchanan Area Chamber of Commerce website.
