Burglary at vape shop in Elkhart over weekend

ELKHART, Ind. - Elkhart Police report on Saturday, June 1, at around 2:03 a.m., officers responded to Craven Vapes on Cassopolis Street, in reference to a burglary in progress.

Authorities say upon arrival officers observed broken glass on the floor inside and outside of the business.

Police then established a perimeter and conducted a search of the building.

No suspects were found inside or in the immediate area.

Authorities' initial investigation indicates that three unknown suspects arrived at the building and one or more suspects broke the window.

Police believe the suspects then entered the building, took items from inside, and left the scene heading east.

The case remains under investigation.
