Butterflies in living color opens for 2012

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Butterfly lovers, this one is for you.

The Potawatomi Zoo opened its "Butterflies in Living Color" exhibit for the season Saturday.

The full immersion exhibit features butterflies from all over the world including South and Central America, Asia, and Africa!

"You walk in, the butterflies are free range, free-roaming. They land on you, they fly around you, so you've got that instantaneous animal contact that people always love coming to the zoo to have," said Marcy Dean, Director of Potawatomi Zoological Society.

"Butterflies in Living Color" is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily through September 3rd.
