Temperatures are a little brisk again this morning, dipping into the mid 50s. It is a calm start to the day with sunshine early.
This afternoon, a few more clouds develop, then a line of showers and a few thunderstorms move across our area in the evening. No severe weather is expected.
These showers are our only chance for rain through the forecast, but rain totals likely stay low today.
After the cold front, it is a little cooler Wednesday with highs in the low 70s.
A warming trend starts Thursday. Over the 3-day Labor Day Weekend, highs soar near 90 degrees.
Highs could stay in the 90s into next week.
