ELKHART, Ind.- Wednesday marks one year since the tragic passing of 12-year-old Rio Allred, and parents are actively coming together to stop bullying and address mental health resources in Elkhart schools.
Rio took her own life on March 14, 2022, after being bullied for an auto-immune condition.
A student-run parent coalition meeting will take place on April 25.
