Cantaloupe, honeydew recalled for possible Listeria contamination

There's a major recall going on for melons because of possible Listeria contamination.

Burch Farms is recalling every cantaloupe and honeydew melon it grew this year. The Food and Drug Administration found Listeria on a melon at the company's North Carolina packing facility.

The melons were sold in 18 states along the East Coast and in the Midwest.

You can check the stickers on your cantaloupes to see if they read either Burch Farms or Cottle Strawberry.
