After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that State Road 331 (Captial Avenue) will close on Monday for pouring concrete as part of a bridge reconstruction project.
The closure will begin at around 12:00 a.m. and reopen at noon the same day.
The closure extends from Lincolnway East to Jefferson Boulevard.
This will be the final closure of the two year reconstruction project.
During the closure, northbound drivers on Capital Avenue will be detoured east on S.R. 933 (Lincolnway E.), north on Bittersweet Road and west on McKinley Road back to Capital Avenue.
Southbound drivers on Capital Avenue will be detoured east on McKinley Road, south on Bittersweet Road and west on S.R. 933 (Lincolnway E.) back to Capital Avenue.
