Car collision sends two drivers to hospital with injuries

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department responded to a car collision accident that happened on County Road 10 just west of County Road 17 Friday afternoon.

The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m.

30-year-old Barry Flager of Goshen was heading east on County Road 10 when he crossed the center line in the middle of the road.

The driver’s side bumper of Flager’s vehicle collided with the front end of 24-year-old Chastity Shelly’s vehicle.

Flager was cited for driving left of center and transported to the hospital by ambulance with a broken left leg.

Shelly was cited for driving while having a suspended prior license and then transported to the hospital with knee pain.

Both drivers are said to be okay.
