Car crashes into fallen tree on County Road 8

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Officials were dispatched to a personal injury crash on County Road 8 around 8:30 pm Friday night.

Larissa Dirks was driving south bound on County Road 8 south of County Road 35.

Dirks collided into a fallen tree that was lying across both the north and south bound lanes of the roadway.

The fallen tree caused minor front end damage to the vehicle and Dirks was taken to Goshen General Hospital for complaints of back and neck pain.

Dirks was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
