Car crashes into power pole in St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH CO., Ind. -- A car slammed into a power pole in St. Joseph County, knocking out power to neighbors.
It happened on Cleveland Rd., just west of Ash Rd., around 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
Police said the driver was headed west toward Beech Rd. when she crossed the center line and crashed.
She also hit some mailboxes.
Police said she is expected to be okay.
Traffic was blocked off for about an hour while crews worked to get power restored.
