Car crashes into River Park neighborhood business

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A car crashed into a business in the River Park neighborhood of South Bend on Tuesday afternoon.


The crash happened in the 2000 block of Mishawaka Avenue.


No one was inside the business at the time of the crash.


The driver suffered minor injuries.


"Some cuts to the face, had a bloody nose and some cuts there.  Very minor injuries fortunately," said  Captain Jeff Rynearson of the South Bend Police Department. 

 

The collision closed down traffic from 24th Street to Ironwood for more than an hour.
