Car dealer gives back to his employees

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Talk about a deal of a lifetime.
A Michigan car dealer retired this week and his final meeting with employees was a doozy.
Howard Cooper gave each person $1,000 for every year of service, no matter what the job.
One employee worked there 46 years.
So, why was he so generous?
His wife says it is simple, he loves his employees.
"I think he's a man that really admires loyalty and I think he had so many employees that had been here for 20, 30, 40 or almost 50 years," Ann Cooper said. "And I think he wanted to do something nice for them."
After Cooper handed out the gifts, he called his first day of retirement a "feel good" day.
