Car strikes tree and pole in Goshen

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. — One person is recovering after a car crash in Elkhart County early Friday morning.
According to police, the accident happened around 12:45 a.m. on S.R. 15, south of County Road 126 in Goshen.
Police said that the driver was taken by Med-flight to South Bend Memorial Hospital.
They say she was speeding, lost control, hit a tree, a NIPSCO utility pole, a Frontier phone junction box, and a mailbox.
She suffered internal bleeding and head trauma.
