Cass County officials remind residence to report flood damage

CASSOPOLIS, Mich. -- Cass County Michigan Emergency Management Coordinator David Smith is working to remind residents that they need to report flood damage to the Cass County Office of Emergency Management.

Smith emphasized that it is crucial to the county in order receive resources necessary to improve the situation in Cass County.

Reporting flood damage allows emergency services to provide residents with valuable information regarding resources to assist them with flood damage. Reporting also provides information that can help local officials in deciding if there is enough damage to announce an emergency declaration.
