Cass County Sheriff investigating alleged break-in involving three suspects

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is searching for three male suspects who posed as employees of Midwest Energy and Communications and entered a residence without permission.

According to officials, the men were going to door to door at different houses in Howard Township and were requesting past power bills from residents and asking them if they were satisfied with their service.

An investigation proved that these individuals, however, were not with Midwest Energy and Communications.

The three suspects did, at one point, commit a breaking and entering at a residence at the 60000 block of Conrad Road. No one was home at the time.

The break-in occurred on March 12.
