Cassopolis giving away free school supplies

CASSOPOLIS, Mi. -- The back to school rush has begun and if your child needs school supplies the Cass County School Supply Spectacular is giving away over a thousand backpacks and school supplies to those in need Wednesday morning.
This is the 7th annual give away and it will be held at Marcellus United Methodist Church starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m.
The event will be giving out free backpacks and school supplies to low income families in Cass County.
United Way of Southwest Michigan wants to make sure children have what they need to learn.
