Cause of fire on Dubail Avenue still under investigation

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Fire is still investigating the cause of the fire that happened at a commercial building on Dubail Avenue Monday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to 112 E. Dubail Avenue just before 2 p.m.

The two-story building was fully involved when firefighters arrived.

Fire crews initially had difficulty fighting the fire because of water supply issues with two different fire hydrants.

Fire investigators determined there were multiple homeless people living in the structure before the fire.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.

The building was a total loss.

There were no injuries.
