CDC, FDA continuing investigation into illnesses linked to bagged salad

The CDC and the FDA are continuing their investigation into cyclospora infections linked to Fresh Express bagged salad containing iceberg lettuce, red cabbage and carrots.
The Fresh Express products that were recalled in June display a product code Z178 or lower number and the "Best By" dates run through July 14, 2020.
The products recalled are under the Fresh Express label or Aldi Little Salad Bar, Giant Eagle, Hy-Vee, Jewel-Osco Signature Farms, ShopRite Wholesome Pantry and Walmart Marketside.
As of July 22, the CDC reported 641 cases in 11 states.
