C.D.C. releases new Ebola numbers

The number of Ebola cases in Liberia and Sierra Leone could rise, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

New numbers show cases could reach 550,000 to 1.4 million by January.

The C.D.C. says that will happen if there's no additional interventions or changes in community behavior.

Officials say they think the current case count is highly under reported.

In just six months, the Ebola death toll in West Africa has climbed to more than 2,800.

The C.D.C. estimates if 70% of people with Ebola are properly cared for, the epidemic could begin to decrease and eventually end.
