Cedar Point to close fan favorite coaster permanently

SANDUSKY, Ohio -- Cedar point fans have some disappointing news coming their way.
One of the park's beloved roller coasters is set to come down soon.
The amusement park announced Tuesday morning that “The Mantis,” the park's only stand-up coaster, will shut down permanently in October.
“The Mantis” has been a park staple for nearly 20 years.
