Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at St. Adalbert Parish

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Things are drying out this week, right in time for Cinco de Mayo! If you're looking for some plans to take advantage of the nice weather this weekend, St. Adalbert Parish has got you covered.

Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo in South Bend with music, food, and plenty of family-friendly events. The church has been holding this event for over 30 years to celebrate the holiday, which marks the Mexican army’s victory over the French in 1862.

The event kicks off at noon with a blessing followed by a DJ, live Mexican music, and dancers. Admission to the event is free, and authentic Mexican food will be available for purchase.

This free, family-friendly fiesta will be held on Saturday, May 6th from noon to 5 PM.
