Celebrating human rights in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Everyone has the right to work, be free and form their own opinions. All were reasons to celebrate Saturday morning in downtown South Bend.

People from all over Michiana came to celebrate the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Today marks the 63rd anniversary of the declaration's signing by the United Nations.

The 30 articles spell out a number of rights that we enjoy every day.

There was even a rendition of Former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt's speech on the declaration as well as a short film by students from Riley High School.
