BUCHANAN, Mich. - The first hearing for the recall of the mayor of Buchanan was held Monday evening but was cut short over a spelling error.
ABC57 News is told the Berrien County Election Commission rejected to hear the case until the information is clear and accurate.
And while the city has still not gotten back to us for comment, we spoke to residents who say they aren't giving up on recall efforts, citing concerns about the city’s spending deficit and a quick employee turnover in city hall as reasons to dismiss Mayor Sean Denison.
