Chase Tower: What's Next?

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- It wasn't an ultimatum, but it was close.

Four tennants inside the Chase Tower building released a statement, demanding that it be sold.

This is an issue that may start to see some resolution after a court hearing on Wednesday. That's when it will be decided how much the building will be listed for when it goes on the market.

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg released the following statement in response to the situation:

Since January 1, my focus has been to create more options for the future of this building. Like these tenants, I am impatient for a solution. I want the building to be listed, so that more information becomes available to potential investors.

The statement was only signed by four tenants, so it may or may not reflect the opinions of the group as a whole.
