ADRIAN, Mich. -- HAZMAT crews responded to a Michigan manufacturing plant for a chemical spill.
Officials said a barrel of nitric acid came into contact with sodium hydroxide which caused a chemical reaction and released fumes into the air.
Adrian Police shut down several roads and neighbors were warned to stay indoors while crews cleaned up the leak.
