Chicago Cubs Spring Training game airing on CW25 March 12

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The network that carries the most Chicago Cubs games, Marquee Sports Network, and Weigel Broadcasting announced today that the CW25 will be airing a Spring Training game between the Cubs and Brewers on March 12 at 9:05 p.m.

That means local Michiana residents will be able to watch the game on the Marquee Sports Network or on the CW25.

“It’s great to share Cubs baseball with our viewers in both Chicago and South Bend. This is a real ‘W’ for fans across the Midwest,” said Senior Vice President Steve Farber of Weigel Broadcasting.

For those with Marquee, the game will still be airing and streaming on their channel and digital platforms, respectively.

“Weigel is excited to broadcast a primetime Chicago Cubs Spring Training game to an over-the-air television audience, a fast-growing segment of America’s television households," said Evan Fieldman, executive vice president of Weigel. “We are grateful to collaborate on this event with Marquee to help reach as many fans as possible with an early look at this year’s team.”

Marquee Sports Network is airing 27 Spring Training games this season, among the most by any regional sports network, and in-market Cubs fans can sign up now for free access to Marquee Sports Network through the remainder of Spring Training by entering promo code SPRINGTRAINING24 at WatchMarquee.com.

“We’re looking forward to collaborating with Weigel on our game broadcast next Tuesday, giving Cubs viewers across the Chicago and South Bend regions additional opportunities to watch Cubs baseball and see all that Marquee Sports Network’s game broadcasts have to offer, highlighting our free Spring Training promotional offer,” said Marquee Sports Network Senior Vice President Robin Mulvaney.

The game broadcast on March 12 will feature Ford C. Frick Award winner and Chicago Cubs radio announcer Pat Hughes on the call, alongside Chicago-native Cliff Floyd and field reporter Elise Menaker.

In addition to watching the game on the Marquee Sports Network, South Bend viewers can watch CW25 on WCWW, Channel 25.1, Comcast 5/192/1025, Mediacom 5/705, RTC Fiber 12/312, Dish 25, DirecTV 25, U-Verse 25/1025, Quality Cablevisions 25.11, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV.
