UPDATE - The South Bend Police Department confirms the one-year-old boy died this morning from his wounds.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Police say a child is in critical condition after a shooting on the city's south side today.
Information remains very limited.
Police say the incident happened in the 800 block of Amhurst Ave. around 12:40 this afternoon.
They say the child was rushed to the hospital, but they have not released the child's age or any information about a suspect.
